The robust plastic barrel fits comfortably in the hand, while the rubberised grip zone prevents slipping – even with oily or dirty hands – and offers a high level of writing comfort, even during long, intensive use.
The 4 mm long, rigid metal sliding sleeve protects the lead from breaking and enables precise work with a ruler or stencil. With an integrated, refillable eraser (Z2-1N) with protective cap and sturdy metal clip for secure attachment, the 120 A3 is ideal for portable use, such as on a construction site.
Available in four lead thicknesses, the mechanical pencil covers a wide range of applications – from fine sketches and technical drawings to clear notes on assembly plans or work documents. Supplied with two HB graphite fine leads, the ‘120 A3’ can be refilled with harder or softer fine leads at any time. AinStein fine leads are particularly stable and therefore suitable for crafts, DIY and industrial use. They are available in four line widths and up to seven degrees of hardness.
